Northstar Engineering provided civil engineering and environmental services for The Crossings at Veterans Parkway in Columbus, GA. This 540-unit complex is located on 22 acres and contains a clubhouse, pool, exercise and weight room and personal garages and storage units. In addition to providing site design and construction plans, Northstar provided environmental services that included preparation of a Phase I Environmental Assessment Report and Nationwide Permit for the Corps of Engineers. Northstar coordinated with a local wetland mitigation bank for purchase of wetland mitigation credits that were required as part of the Corps of Engineers permit. This project was completed in 2012.
